The Consultant acting as an executive for Strategy & Business Development will carry out services commensurate with expertise in Strategy & Business Development. The Consultant will work closely with the CEO and will help to drive sales and growth of the business. They will attract new clients and build solid relationships with them while maintaining existing relationships. Other duties will include market research, developing business strategies and high-level pitches, and identifying new business opportunities. Specific responsibilities will include those detailed below. Deliverables/milestones will be developed upon successful onboarding.

Responsibilities (Business Development)
• Conduct market research and identify potential clients.
• Lead market intelligence gathering efforts and provide analytical support to create presentations, formulate pitches, and propose partnership structures for future customers.
• Responsible for drafting business plans, reference material, and other documents as required.
 • Help cultivate strong relationships with new clients while maintaining existing client relationships. Help structure and collect customer feedback during and after project delivery.
• Develop a database and maintain client information in the database.
• Support the development and implementation of sales strategies, client service, and retention plans, and analyze sales data to inform or update marketing strategies.
• Work with the executive team to drive an efficient business development process and support information sharing across the team.
Strategy:
• Support Senior Management in the development of Business Strategy, leading market intelligence gathering efforts and competitor analysis.
• Conduct extensive research, perform qualitative and quantitative analysis, and develop presentations for the executive team and Board.
• Provide analytical support to assess the operational and financial viability of new and ongoing initiatives.
• Support the development, rationalization, and execution of strategic initiatives across business lines.
• Work closely with staff across departments to implement growth strategies.
Administration:
• Will support the CEO in the management and organization of agenda, meetings, and conference calls.
• Will lead the organization of meetings and events as well as identify speaking opportunities at industry events and conferences.
• Exceptional proficiency in PowerPoint development and presentation.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Relevant Certifications in Business Development, Strategy, or related fields can be an advantage.
- At least 5 years of experience in business development, Strategy, or related roles.
- Proven track record of successfully driving sales and business growth.
- Experience in market research, analysis, and development of business strategies.
- Experience in developing and maintaining client relationships.
- Experience in drafting business plans and other relevant documents.
Skills:
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct market research and analysis.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong business acumen and strategic thinking.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate across departments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
Additional Requirements:
- Willingness to travel as needed.
- Flexibility to work outside normal business hours when required.
- Knowledge of the industry or market the business operates in is preferred.
