Overview
Livelihood Empowerment Against Poverty (LEAP) is a cash transfer program to empower the extremely poor, disadvantaged and vulnerable populations to “leap” out of poverty. The program aims at fostering long-term human capital development through the increase of consumption and the promotion of access to services and opportunities among the extreme poor and vulnerable in Ghana.
Insyt has been the backbone technology for LEAP’s targeting process. This technology helped UNICEF and its partners to replace paper-and-pen data collection method with Android tablets.
Insyt helped LEAP reduce data collection process time from 2 weeks to 4 days, achieving a remarkable data quality score of 100% at first submission.
