from Diana Popa, Cofounder and CEO of Extensio

In order to reaffirm its Mexican identity and focus on the needs of Latin America, Esoko Mexico is changing its name to Extensio. With its characteristic dedication to impact and quality, Extensio will keep working to offer a service which has been especially designed for the Mexican and Latin American market.

Born in Ghana, Africa, Esoko is a successful information platform for farmers that has been implemented in various countries in the past 10 years. Extensio started its activities in Mexico under the brand “Esoko Mexico” in December 2015, with the goal to replicate and adapt the successful Esoko business model to the Mexican market.

As social business, Extensio is strongly engaged to its vision of change: a Latin America where all farmers can make informed decisions to live the life they value. To fulfill this vision, the company has been connecting farmers with their value chains through information and communication technologies for over two years.

Since its creation, the company has sought the right answers to local needs, connecting over 8 thousand farmers in Mexico hand in hand with prestigious allies and clients such as Environmental Defense Fund, CIMMyT and Grupo Modelo (AB InBev).

Together with its service beneficiaries and clients, Extensio will continue innovating its technologies in order to reinforce agricultural value chains and accelerate the transformation of the rural landscape.

Extensio’s solid team continues grow, adding experience and energy. Today it counts with eight professionals of various specialties who work every day on the challenges of this new stage.

Welcome all to this new age of transformation for the rural landscape!
